As a way to promote financial literacy, CommonWealth One bank developed the Home Run Reading Challenge.
The Home Run Reading Challenge can help your child learn more about money management, while practicing reading skills over the summer break. It’s easy for your child to hit a home run by reading four books from our list and completing the required reading log.
The cash rewards add up quickly! Your child will receive $5 for each book they read.* When they read four books, they’ll hit a home run and get an additional $5, for a total of $25! Their cash prize will be deposited into their CommonWealth One savings account.
The Charles Houston Rec Center and CommonWealth One Bank are partnering for a Kids Marketplace! Happening this Friday, July 20, from 4:00-5:00pm at the Charles Houston Rec Center. Kids ages 8-12 will learn about money management, how to make good financial decisions, and the importance of learning math! This will be a fun and engaging way to connect kids to good money management skills.
Join us by signing up at the Charles Houston Rec Center front desk.
